Director’s Bio: Fu Yang is a Taiwanese stop-motion filmmaker.
She runs a boutique animation studio, Cafe LaBobo LLC, with her husband, Ben Ellebracht, in St. Louis, Missouri. The studio has collaborated with Apple TV+, Pixar Co-op, DreamWorks TV, and indie film productions. Fortune Cookie is the Voices With Impact ’23 granted film production. It aims to foster conversations about burnout and its impacts. By sharing Fu’s narrative, she hopes to inspire resilience and promote change for other aspiring artists.
