The Badger

Right before Soodeh Sharifzadegan’s second marriage, her 11-year-old son Matiar is kidnapped and held for ransom. Unable to pay for his release on her own, she is forced to confront elements of a life she left behind, including an estranged ex-husband—Matiar’s father—and her own father, both of whom may hold the key to getting her son back.
