Li Mu Bai. The Green Destiny. Jade Fox. Michelle Yeouch! Nothing holds the same space in the annals of film history as Ang Lee’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Come join us in-person for a special screening of this beloved epic. As a part of PAPA’s mini-resident Chantal Vorobei Thieves’ ongoing project, Memory, Vein: The Collected Tapes—where personal memories are shared in connection to specific scenes from various films—members of the audience are invited to narrate your personal memories over the action! This movie-watching experience will lie somewhere between Mystery Science Theater 3000 and the director’s commentary tracks from the special features on DVDs (remember those?).
