The Miniaturist of Junagadh

1947. Renowned miniature painter and collector Husyn Naqqash must sell his ancestral home in India and move his family to Pakistan. Kishorilal, the home’s new owner, schemes to acquire Husyn’s collection. But all is not what it seems. Husyn’s family is harboring a secret about the collection.

About the filmmaker: Born and raised in Bombay, Kaushal Oza graduated in Film Direction from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Both of his earlier short films Vaishnav Jan Toh and Afterglow have won the National Film Award. In all, his shorts have won 15 International Awards.
