A Fleeting Moment is a 2D animated short film created by a passionate team of students, both seniors and underclassmen, at San José State University. The film follows the story of two raindrops, Brine and River, as they fall from the sky above a busy city. The path Brine and River take has many ups and downs, but it teaches them to enjoy every moment they have together. Join this lovable pair on their journey to discover what it means to be alive.

Director’s Bio: Allyanna Demafeliz is a Filipina-American who aspires to become a visual development artist or concept artist in animation. She was born in Renton, Washington to two Filipino immigrants who moved to the US for a better life. As a child, she grew up watching animated movies and knew she wanted to become a professional artist. She graduated from San José State University with a focus on Animation/Illustration in Spring 2021. She is currently determined to take her first step into the animation industry.
