Public Safety Protocols

In order to address ongoing public safety concerns to provide an equitable and accessible community space, PAAFF will enforce the following protocols during in-person, indoor events:

  • Masking is required at all times. If eating or drinking during catered events, masks may be removed only while the food and drink is being consumed. There will be no eating or drinking in the theater or prior to the catered reception.
  • At CCCnC, masking is required at all times.
  • Cloth masks and non-medical-grade masks are not effective and do not count as adequate protection. If you do not have an appropriate mask, one will be provided for you.

Anyone who does not abide by these protocols will be asked to leave and will not be issued a refund.

If you feel sick…

BEFORE the Film Festival:

Please stay home, even if your symptoms are mild. We want to avoid any possibility of illness for our vulnerable community members. Email festival staff and we will do our best to get you online access to the film program you would have attended if possible.

DURING the Film Festival:

Please immediately approach a staffer even if your symptoms are mild. We will speak with you to assess your symptoms and who you came into close contact with during the Film Festival.

Then, please return home and take a PCR or rapid at-home antigen test as soon as possible. If the test result is positive, please immediately contact PAAFF (info@phillyasianfilmfest.org.) We will initiate contact tracing.

AFTER the Film Festival

Please take a PCR or rapid at-home antigen test as soon as possible.

If the test result is positive, please immediately contact PAAFF (info@phillyasianfilmfest.org.) We will initiate contact tracing.

Contact Tracing Guidelines

If you test positive for COVID-19, we will speak with you to determine who you came into close contact with during the Film Festival.

QWOCMAP will notify all audience members within 24 hours of the case being reported to us, if someone tests positive for COVID-19 during or within 7 days after the Film Festival.

All personal information will be held strictly confidential.
