NOMINEE – Best Animated Short
The story of a child’s affection towards a girl in a painting. Our protagonist travels around their imagination and visits all the different paintings and art periods throughout the museum. The film shows the innocence of a child’s love, as well as the thoughts of growing up and learning to face reality.

Director’s Bio: Justine is a Chinese-Australian designer, illustrator, and director who is currently enrolled in the Character Animation Program at CalArts.
From childhood through our adult lives we make new friends and families members. They can be small, smelly, and furry – or they can look exactly like us. As we grow, we face our fears and – most importantly – share laughs. After all, all we have is each other. The following films present these shared experiences.
